Bach flower essences work on a vibrational level and harmonize our feelings or states of imbalance so we can be more positive and regain emotional balance and peace of mind. Because the essences work directly with the body's energy system there is no overdose and no side effects, although some people may experience a release of suppressed emotions causing internal confrontation.

Instructions for use with children or animals:
Bach flowers can be safely given to children and animals by putting just a few drops of the essence or blend in a glass of water or water bowl.
 
The essences do contain alcohol, which is needed as a preservative. If you have purchased a treatment bottle, the alcohol content is very low, but if you are still concerned you can spray the essence or blend onto the animal's ears or rub a few drops onto the ear lobe or inside of the wrist of your child. Alternatively, you can mix a few drops with a small amount of Sorbolene creme and rub that into the skin.
